The Radio DJ Talk about this HUGE Concert in the State of New York

I was only nine when Woodstock was going on, I have older brothers and sisters who listened to the top rock acts of the day. Plus my friend’s older siblings is how I got turned on to so much great music. Some of them were really cool hippies. They had the painted vans or buses, plus the really neat posters from that era.

I grew up 3,000 miles west of Max Yasgurs farm in Seattle WA, the birthplace of Jimi. One local radio station here would give updates on what band was playing at Woodstock. It was neat to hear the radio DJ talk about this HUGE concert in the state of New York.

I went to the 40th for the Summer of Love in Monterey and Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It was a BLAST. I would fly out back east if there is gonna be some of the acts from back then show up and play. The Who, Crosby Stills and Nash, Canned Heat, Santana.

PEACE LOVE. End this friggin WAR!
Long live the WOODSTOCK NATION!
